About me
I am a UKCP-registered Systemic Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working therapeutically with individuals, families, and caregivers. My approach is grounded in the understanding that we are shaped by the systems we live within—whether it’s our family, workplace, friendships, cultural environment, or the internal system of our own body. I believe in the powerful interplay between these systems and how they influence our well being and relationships.
I am a Family Therapist with an MSc in Systemic Psychotherapy (Distinction), an Advanced level Somatic Experiencing® (SE®) Practitioner and a Level 2 Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) practitioner. I have additional training in Theraplay® and a Diploma and MSc in social work studies. I work under supervision and am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the Association for Family Therapy (AFT).
I am trained as a yoga teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) and offer group courses and one to one yoga sessions
Personally, I am a parent to a neurodiverse young person and another child transitioning to independence. I live in Leicestershire with my husband, our family, and our labrador, Jess.
